Credit Card processing

The following sites are recommended for online credit card processing. All have their pluses and minuses;

Pay Pal
Pay Pal is perhaps the best known and therefore most trusted. Accepts payments for both digital and physical goods. The best thing about Pay Pal is that they credit your account as soon as payments are received. Shopping cart available, at no charge. No start up fee.

ClickBank
Clicbbank is for digital products only, and is the undisputed leader in this area. Clickbank also has an affiliate center where you can find thousands of digital products to sell for a commission. Great for beginners in online business. Payments are made twice a month. $49.95 start-up if selling your own products. Shopping cart not available. No fee to become an affiliate.

Drop-shippers

A drop shipper is a wholesaler who also ships on your behalf, goods that you have sold. This saves you time, storage space and the risk of carrying unsellable inventory. You get the order, then you instruct the drop-shipper where to ship. The goods get shipped in your name.

Beware. There are many websites out there pretending to be drop-shippers but really are just middle-men (or women). They will use you as their salesman and the goods might take an eternity to reach your customer if they do, and might not even be the quality or quantity ordered. I've been there.

Others will sell you a directory of broken links or non-existent companies. Or they will mail you a worthless, poorly copied booklet by mail.

There's only one drop-shippers directory I recommend simply because they investigate and verify the companies they list. Also, most of the dropshippers on their list don't charge a fee to join. Visit them at; The DropShippers Directory

Affordable Web Hosting

Looking for a quality web host that won't cost you an arm and a leg? Avoid free hosts like the plague; they are not interested in your business, just their own advertising. Some "free" hosts will wait for you to start sending in substantial traffic, then hijack it!

The following will give you great service for low cost ($9.99 or less). I've used (and still use) all of the services listed here. Please take time and check each one out before committing. Ultimately the decision is yours, but DO NOT simply go for the cheapest.

Host Gator: Host Gator is one of the most popular hosting service providers out there. And their service is awesome. I host (at the time of writing this) three sites on hos gator, and I've had no problems so far.

Go Daddy; Plans start at $3.95 per month. Go daddy's customer service is awesome!

Happy web-host hunting!
